Workshop PANTERA-SUPEERA 23 March 2023

Background of the event

PANTERA and SUPEERA will organise a joint workshop next 23 March 2023 and will take place in the Faculty of Electrical Engeineering in Bucharest, Romania. PANTERA and SUPEERA (also part of our related initiatives) have joined forces to foster networking activities and research and innovation in Romania. This workshop is expected to offer an overview of the European policies and how EU opportunities in research can bring the country closer to the European Union’s Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan). DATA CELLAR, with out partner FOSS, will be present in the event and try to seek synergies with like-minded projects and experts.

Romania, similarly to other states in the region, has received a very low amount from the EU research and innovation budget, despite being an active country in the energy transition process by the implementation of policies that follow EU energy and low carbon objectives. The objective of this event is to enhance this R&I collaboration, knowledge and best practice exchange in Romania, which will ultimately lead to the involvement in the discussions around the SET Plan process.
