The project is divided into several phases where each partner has a vital role to play in order to achieve the DATA CELLAR ambition.

THE AMBITION OF DATA CELLAR

The ambition of DATA CELLAR will be to analyze the most interesting and valuable applications for the involved stakeholders to push the SoA for these applications by matching the technological expertise with the domain expertise present within the consortium, but also to implement a tool that can allow easier access to these models also to people that do not have this technological expertise.

WP1

DATA CELLAR SPECS: BOUNDARY CONDITIONS AND ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS (LEADER: RINA-C)

The main objective is the assessment of project Validation Cases (VCs) and of other existing dataspaces/on-going energy communities experiences.

This WP aims to define the initial reference framework of the project and to sustain the project activities, coordinate the dataspace development, partners roles, data to be most probably managed by DATA CELLAR and guide the validation phase.

ENERGY DATA VALUES FOR ENERGY COMMUNITIES UPTAKE (LEADER: CERTH)

The WP is pivotal to operate as the main think tank on data and how to extract values from data for supporting the uptake of energy communities or any other businesses. Together with WP1, WP2 aims to analyse which data are available at VCs and EU data-spaces in order to understand how to populate the DATA CELLAR.

INTEROPERABILITY AND FEDERATION OF EU ENERGY DATA SPACES (LEADER: FOSS)

This WP will play the important role of leasing with the other data space initiatives as well as with other relevant EU and non-EU Energy data spaces to connect, share, operate and deliver.

For achieving this degree of cooperation and interoperability it is vitally important to have a well-defined ontology of the targeted data.

DATA CELLAR ICT ARCHITECTURE REFERENCE DEFINITION AND EDGE AND CLOUD PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT (LEADER: QUE)

The goal of this WP is to define the architecture of DATA CELLAR also to guarantee a proper VC data gathering, as well as interaction with existing/sister project data spaces.

WP5

DATA-DRIVEN ENERGY SERVICES DEVELOPMENT (LEADER: UBE)

The goal of this WP is, in accordance with data stored in DATA CELLAR, VCs desiderata and platform architecture, to develop an interface with energy community developers as well as data driven services and software libraries relevant for the development and management of energy communities in EU.

WP6

DATA MARKETPLACE AND VALORISATION, TOKENIZATION AND DISTRIBUTED LEDGER TECHNOLGIES (LEADER: LINKS)

This WP is in charge to deal with the design and development of a decentralized and open marketplace for energy datasets and AI models leveraging Distributed Ledger Technologies for data validation, tokenization and valorisation.

WP7

TOWARDS THE FUTURE OF DATA CELLAR AND CAPITALIZATION ON NEXT-GEN DATA MARKET PLACES (LEADER: RINA)

The objective of WP7 is to validate DATA CELLAR and wishes/needs collected in WP1, starting from the monitoring of the effectiveness of its use in VCs. Lessons learnt from VCs will enable the development of proper promotional and replication strategies.

WP8

DISSEMINATION, COMMUNICATION AND STANDARDIZATION STRATEGIES (LEADER: ZABALA INNOVATION)

WP8 aims at implementing the project’s dissemination, communication and standardisation strategies, considering the research progress and the evolution of the business plan during the lifetime of the project.

WP9

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION (LEADER: RINA)

This WP aims to ensure efficient coordination of the project and appropriate overall project strategy, ensure efficient management, ensure efficient administrative, financial and contractual management and to guarantee innovative and scientific valuable project outcomes.
