DATA CELLAR holds its final general assembly in Genoa
On 8-9 October 2025, the DATA CELLAR consortium gathered in Genoa, Italy, for its final General Assembly, hosted by the project coordinators, RINA. This meeting marked one of the last key milestones for the project as it moves toward completion, bringing together all partners to review progress, finalise deliverables, and discuss the project’s future impact.
The two-day meeting featured in-depth sessions on all work packages, including project management, ICT architecture, interoperability of European energy data spaces, and the development of data-driven energy services. Partners also participated in dashboard and tools technical alignment sessions, focusing on integrating the different components of the DATA CELLAR ecosystem. The final exploitation workshop offered space for discussions on sustainability and opportunities for further use of the project results, alongside live demonstrations of the AI visual tool and data marketplace.
As part of the event, DATA CELLAR also hosted a public workshop titled “Building an Energy Dataspace: Exploring the DATA CELLAR Approach for All Stakeholders”. Held both online and in Genoa, the session welcomed external participants and stakeholders interested in energy data spaces. The workshop introduced the concept and objectives of the DATA CELLAR dataspace, demonstrated the platform’s functionalities, including registration, data exploration and governance tools, and engaged participants in interactive activities to test and provide feedback on the platform.

Speakers included Martina Galluccio and Marta Micheli (RINA), Alexandros Zerzelidis (CERTH), Andrés García Mangas (CTIC), Alessandro Mozzato and Sara de Luca (LINKS), Luis Luengo Baranguan (CIRCE), and Michalis Vassiliadis (QUE), who guided attendees through live demonstrations and collaborative sessions.
As the project enters its final stage, the consortium now looks ahead to the DATA CELLAR final event, where the outcomes of this three-year collaboration will be officially presented to the public. This event will serve as the culmination of the project’s journey, showcasing its main achievements, tools, and impact on the future of data sharing in the energy sector.
